Why
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about thinking. And now that I’m coming to the end of this project, I’m doing a lot of thinking about thinking about thinking. As a Public Policy major, I spend a lot of time considering how people develop ideological stances and make decisions, but never before had I used belief formation to question the aims and motivations of education itself. This topic threatened to push me down more than a couple existential black holes — as is evidenced by the hours of doodling I did throughout the process.
